Motivation

Why do you apply to Elunes Elite? : For the last years or so I've been making my own pugs but I think it's time to settle down into a raiding guild Don't get me wrong, I love making pugs
but would like to raid with the same people every week instead of randoms.

What do you expect from Elunes Elite? : Good progress into ICC hardmodes (hopefully soon)

Why should Elunes Elite take you aboard? What will you bring to the guild? : I can guarantee you top dps and help the guild progress.

What is your goal in WoW? : To have fun with my mates. Enjoy the game and not take it too seriously. To complete each new content Blizz throws at us

Any friends in Elunes Elite? : Not at the moment.

Every played/raided with members from Elunes Elite? : Don't think so.

Previous Guild experiences

What were your previous guilds? Why did you leave / get kicked / ....? : As I said, I make pugs. So any guild I'm in it's just as a friend rank. The only serious raid guild I was in was Solidarity (Horde).

What is your current guild? Why do you want to leave? : The guild I'm currently in is just my friends guild, I'm not raiding with them.

Do you have any pending applications with other guilds? : Nope.

What kind of raider would you consider yourself to be? (hardcore, casual, ...) : Semi-core

When are you available for raids? (Give exact days and hours please) : Pretty much any days but the weekend. But have no problem raiding then if needed.

Do you have any raid experience, and if so in which instances? :I've been playing since Vannila so I'll just mention the newest instances I have done on this hunter.

As a trial/raider you are expected to make use of epic gems in your gear and have the best enchants in game. We also ask a full preparation for raids, especially for progress raids. What are your specific ways of getting ready for the raid? : I always get everything ready one day before the raid. Like today I stocked up for the next few weeks with 200 Hearty Rhino's, 300 Elixir of Armour Piercing and 300 pots of potion of wild magic lol ><

Hi Ross,

we have discussed this application and the outcome has confused even ourselves

The application is excellent, the gear and experience top notch and the attitude described would fit right in with Elunes Elite view on the game.
But (there is always a but), at this point we have 3 hunters ready to raid : active and gearwise decent to good. We have not formed 2 ICC10-groups (yet) and therefore, to be 100% honest, we can not guarantee you a raidspot in our guildraid.

However, you would be both in gear and experience a fine candidate for our guild and maybe even for taking up a more leading role as classleader, who knows, once we move on to the 2 runs / ICC25 period so it feels like a waste for us to decline you coldblooded and move on.

Hence, the decision has now been put back into your own hands. If you are prepared to let (and help) us expand our guild to move on into the next phase of raiding, you are more than welcome to join us. This could mean you would not be able to join every single guildrun in ICC10 for a week or 2, depending on the speed of our recruitment and on possible migration of my other chars (which would turn 1 hunter into a warlock/DK tank, thus leaving 2 hunters for our raids).

Thanks for the quick response. After reading that reply over and over again I’d like to ask a few things and maybe add a suggestion or two. Before I made this application I was already aware that this guild had three hunters, but didn't know if all three were active.

The last thing I'd want to do is join the guild and replace one of these guys, who by the way all seem decently geared. So its totally understandable that I'm not guaranteed a spot. One thing that caught my attention is the role of a class leader. If recruiting does go well I'd be happy to take part in the 2nd run, perhaps even lead it. I've been leading successful pugs for the last few months after I came back to WoW, with 12/12 more or less on farm by now with good progression into hard mode. I always try to get the best out of the people I raid with and give them advice after the raid on things they can improve on for the next week.

I also run raids a little differently than most people. I like raiding with a nice fun humours atmosphere I always make sure things never get to serious to a point where it lowers a players confidence, which usually leads to a lack in performance. Might sound silly but it works for me lol

I have 4 regulars that raid with me each week, who today asked me why don't I start up a guild? If it's any help to you guys I could mention this guild is looking for a 2nd team and if they are interested, you got yourselves 4 very skilled players.

I am prepared to help you guys make progress by sharing tactics and what not. But (and this is a big but ) I'd prefer if you could decide 100% what you want to do. Right now, I've no plans on joining any other guild, so I'll be chillin here in my friends guild until things are worked out a little more clearly.
