Link to your character's armory : http://eu.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Outland&cn=schwing

Motivation

Why do you apply to Elunes Elite? : I played with a bunch of you guys last Thursday and it went really well. You had a bunch of friendly guild members who knew what to do and didn't mess up on stupid things. It felt really good to raid that night.
What do you expect from Elunes Elite? : Peeps who can play serious but also have fun doing so. Wanting to progress but not going at it like crazy. Basically people I can rely on for having a good time but with a serious attitude to getting shit done.
Why should Elunes Elite take you aboard? What will you bring to the guild? : I think im a reliable and solid tank that doesnt mess up a lot. I always got a positive attitude and won't quit after some criticism.
What is your goal in WoW? : Have fun, kill some bosses and make friends.
Any friends in Elunes Elite? : Nope
Every played/raided with members from Elunes Elite? : Yeah, last thursday, we downed 10/12 that day

Previous Guild experiences

What were your previous guilds? Why did you leave / get kicked / ....? :
My current guild is <Xeon>. The main raiders are pretty good guys but in 25 man with all the trials, it kinda felt to me it was a pug. On one night from 20:00 - 23:30 we only got to 6/12 with wiping like a million times on PP. I dont wanna make them look bad because they have some nice people in there but it just didnt feel right tbh
What is your current guild? : Still <Xeon>
Do you have any pending applications with other guilds? : No

Raids

What kind of raider would you consider yourself to be? (hardcore, casual, ...) : I play wow pretty casual but I can play serious if need be.
When are you available for raids? (Give exact days and hours please) : Wednesday till Sunday, from 19:00 to 00:00. Except for Saturdays when I'm mostly out drinking Razz. Ofcourse somedays I cant because of study or other things, but I'll let you guys know before hand.
Do you have any raid experience, and if so in which instances? : To(G)C 10/25, VoA 10/25, ICC 10/25. I played vanilla wow when it came out and leveled a char till 60. After that I made some alts/twinks but stopped playing when TBC came out. A few months back a RL friend of mine asked if I'd be interested playing again and so I started again.
As a trial/raider you are expected to make use of epic gems in your gear and have the best enchants in game. We also ask a full preparation for raids, especially for progress raids. What do you bring to the raid? : I always have the best enchants and bring Flasks, Fish Feasts, some extra gems for a possible upgrade in gear.
What is the rotation you use in a raid to fulfill your role as best as you can? : When were at a boss I use Bloodrage>Charge in> Shield wall>Shield Slam> Revenge(if possible)>Sunder>TC, when SS procs I use it and make sure to sunder the boss till 5 stacks asap. After that just the general rotation to keep as much threat as possible.
That's all for now, thanks for filling in the template. Feel free to add a comment here, if you think you have more information to share with us : Nah, not really. I hope that the guys that raided with me last Thursday had a good time that night. I'll leave the rest to you guys. Schwing OUT! Very Happy

Well first of all I'm just a member, but guild is not only about officers and guild master so I'll throw my coin, it's democracy after all.
Anyway, I absolutely loved how you played in ICC10 yesterday, you had great communication as well, just number one material. Only thing I'm concerned about is part of your application regarding past experiences in your guild

What were your previous guilds? Why did you leave / get kicked / ....? : My current guild is <Xeon>. This part made me somewhat upset, because after all wiping is important part of the progress. I hope you got irritated by wiping without any sign of progress and I suppose your reaction would be somewhat justified. Overall I wish you best and that's about it from me

Ye I agree, wiping is important you can learn from your mistakes and know what to do better/different next time. I might have phrased it a bit wrong or you might have missed the point. But what I was trying to say is that people were dying for stupid reasons, like standing in the goo or healers who just didnt heal a tank and the tank dying with just one stack mutated plague. That's why I also said that it kinda felt like a pug instead of a guild run. It's not like I go QQ after a few wipes on a boss, but that night we wiped for such stupid reasons.

I interpreted it that way! Does that make me smarter than other officers?

But allso remember, that even in a guild people can have a bad day. if it were 10 out of 25 peep who had a bad day, there would be a high risk for a bad run. It can happen to even the best guilds. So for that reason I think Sherstace reacted on it, as this guild is still new. A new guild is in a higher risk for stupid wipes. Simple because we do not know peep before we have played with them. We need runs to sort out slacker noobs, and in the long run only get the pro hardcore/casual players for decent runs.

Else nice application, and good luck.

Well I think it wasnt a matter of bad day, just plain bad people. I can understand people having a bad day, of course. But people who have a bad day dont make the same mistakes 4/5 times in a row. Besides it wasnt really that that was the only night Razz I just took last raid as an example, haha.

I kinda feel I sound like a negative nancy on here. Don't get me wrong, I'm always positive about raiding and dont give up. Not even on people who mess up the whole night. I always keep my cool and try to tell em each time to move, or give them some advice on what to do next time (if no one says anything about it before me that is).

Anyway thanks Smile hope to raid with you guys soon!
