Personal Information
Your name in real life : Dimitri
Age : 19
Country and hometown : Greece, Athens
Occupation (job, student, ...) : Finished IB course; moving to university in September
PC technical info (connection, graphic card, processor) : 36Mbps Wireless, Probably playing at an internet cafe due to some problems which i have, the connection is ALWAYS stable and they have the newest video cards which are on the market, anything under 60fps means every server migrated to Dalaran thus such a low frame rate...in other words, a VERY stable and good connection + graphics.
Do you have vent / mic / TeamSpeak? : Yes, i have all and willing to speak/listen on both.
Character Information
Character's name / class : Shanorè - Shaman
Talent-build / specc : Restoration, i changed my spec yesterday to dps but my resto spec is the classic one taking all of the pve talents in rest and going up to the weapon enchancement in enhancement.
Dual spec (if any) : Resto pve/Resto pvp
Willing to respecc if needed (yes/no?) : I am, although it would take some work to get my hit rating up to scratch.
Playtime on this char (type /played ingame) : 76 days 23 hours 12 minutes
Have you leveled this character up yourself from the start? :Yes, since vanilla the shaman was my main.
Other toons? (class/level) : 80 Discipline Priest, 76 Protection Paladin, 75 Blood DK, 59 Prot Warrior.
Professions and skill level and reason for choosing them : On this character my proffesions are not developed due to a time back in wow where i quit thus stopped with JC in the middle of quitting and i havent had the time to raise it, overall jewelcrafting is a good choice for a raiding proffesion due to the extra stas whihc the gems have to offer and im wiling to develop it. THe other proffesion is mining, back before patch 3.1 shaman were known to have the lowest health pools of all of the classes and my decision was made purely for pvp reason to get the perk of the extra stamina, although it may sound like a pvp only reason sometimes having that extra bit of stamina within a raid could make the difference between staying alive or dying.
Link to your character's armory : http://eu.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Outland&cn=Shanor%C3%A8 (i could be in pvp gear, just let me know and i will log out on pve)
Motivation
Why do you apply to Elunes Elite? : I saw on Trade chat that they were recruiting and as myself i played back in vanilla and seeing this is a vanilla guild i knew that i would have to do with experienced players and people which know their roles within the raid- and out.
What do you expect from Elunes Elite? : I expect an evnironment which is friendly and raiding and which does not give up on a @wipe@, I expect that we dont even call them wipes but instead they are called @NEarly Theres@ meaning that on the next one we shall do it which is what progress is all about in the first place;
Why should Elunes Elite take you aboard? What will you bring to the guild? : I will bring an experienced and knowledgable player which is willing to listen to any advice as well as give out any advise which i have gathered over the long period of time which i have been playing World of warcraft. Also as during the time which i quit wow(due to RL reason) i would still spend time on forums reading up on tactics and everything which had to do with progress so you can also expect me to be knowledeable of everything and also to be able to give tips on every boss fight which are not known by majority of players.
What is your goal in WoW? : Well, after all it IS a game thus its fun, but raiding and progress are part of the fun as well as being within an environment which you would like to be.
Any friends in Elunes Elite? : None whatsoever ;p(hopefully i will have some soon....)
Every played/raided with members from Elunes Elite? : Nope
Previous Guild experiences
What were your previous guilds? Why did you leave / get kicked / ....? : Well, my guild history of raiding goes back a long way, after quitting the game at the End of BC and joning in May 2009 again i joined a guild called Application Declined on Darkspear EU, this was a guild which was focused on raiding and with them i managed to raid most of Ulduar which was the funnest raiding experience apart from pre-bc. After that i have not been in any serious guild and around 2 months ago i moved to Outland EU due to how the pvp was developed on the server and to improve my pvp skills. From that time onwards i was writing my final exams thus I had no time to be in a guild and raid and i would not want to let anyone down. So i have been in some pvp guilds just to have some fun on Gchat here and there but that did not work out too well. I have NEVER been kicked from a guild
What is your current guild? : JFK was Flagged for pvp - just cuz the name was funny
Do you have any pending applications with other guilds? : Nope
Raids
What kind of raider would you consider yourself to be? (hardcore, casual, ...) : Well, it depends on what the guild demands of me, i have the ability to be on for EVERY raid thus being hardcore but when im not needed i could be called casual although i do spend a lot of time playing...hmm...
When are you available for raids? (Give exact days and hours please) : pretty much..ALWAYS...no really..give me a time and i will be there...exact times? 00:00 - 23-59...i might need 60 seconds to go grab something to eat ;p
Do you have any raid experience, and if so in which instances? : Well, back in BC i raided MC BWL and ony(faceroll), and stayed up until the opening of AQ where i got hacked, i stopped playing there for around 4 months then when TBC came out i raided up t Hyjal whereby my guild was disbanded due to reasons leaving me to enjoy...nothing. Then in Wotlk i have progressed in every raid as it was ocming out except for ICC due to exam reasons. I speak on teamspeak sometimes to a guild which is one of the top one's on Outland and help them out with tacs and boss fights, which should show that i do have quite a bit of raiding experience.
As a trial/raider you are expected to make use of epic gems in your gear and have the best enchants in game. We also ask a full preparation for raids, especially for progress raids. What do you bring to the raid? : Well, i do have fully epic gems and of course i will bring along my flasks and everything which will help me to be of more use to the guild.
What is the rotation you use in a raid to fulfill your role as best as you can? : Being a healer, i cannot say that there is really a rotation which i follow, but there are certain things which shammy healers have to do although mostly being a healer its situational rotations. Some of the things which a shammy has to do is :
Use riptide on every CD regardless of hp of someone, the extra 25% on chain heal and the tidal waves buff are too good to be missed, after tidal waves is up casting two healing waves or 2 lesser healing waves(due to reduced cast time and mana return form crit) is the way to go, after doing that the riptide has still not faded fom the target thus following up with chain heal to top everyone off is a good way to go.
That's all for now, thanks for filling in the template. Feel free to add a comment here, if you think you have more information to share with us :
Well , i have not raided in a long time but i have watched, helped, been there for progress with many guild and i have a lot of experience and experience is the one thing which makes or breaks a raid, hope to be raiding with you very soon!.

Hi malaka!
Nice to see a greek application! Thanks for applying to our guild : our officers will read and discuss this asap and let you know our decision. As a first opinion : great to see how you have put in a lot of effort to write an extensive apply. Well done, we will get back to you about this as soon as we can.
